    Vince began in the floral industry at age 15. Following graduation from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown with a BS degree in Ornamental Horticulture, he first opened Butera The Florist as a wedding only business in 1980. 1986 allowed him to expand into the full service floral shop located in the “Shiloh” region of York. Currently, Butera The Florist is located in a 6500 sq.ft. venue in the Leader Heights area, south of York. The large facility houses the showroom, design center, wedding consultation and educational studio.

    Vince is not only a local florist; he is also involved in the floral industry. He is accredited by American Institute of Floral Designers, and Professional Floral Communicators-International and American Academy of Floriculture. He is a floral design teacher/entertainer to both consumer groups and floral professionals. His design programs have been enjoyed by many Garden Clubs, civic groups, and have been televised live from the PA Farm Show. He has traveled around the country presenting educational and motivational programs to floral professionals, and has been featured in a number of floral trade magazines.

  • Jane is a floral artist whose passion has always been in the floral industry. From the day she graduated from High School in the late 70′s, she knew what path she wanted to take, and enrolled in floral design school. There she earned several certificates. Jane has worked in every aspect of a flower shop, up to and including owning a shop with her husband. Jane has a full life with children and 4 grandchildren that keep her young at heart!

    Megan is a floral artist who enjoys the opportunity to use artistic creativity in the workplace on a daily basis. She has earned her Certificate of Merit in Floral Design from Longwood Gardens, and has also graduated with a degree in Business from Pennsylvania State University. During her college years she traveled to Germany to study floral design under Gregor Lersch. She believes that one can continue to learn everyday from the people around them, whether its floral design or life lessons. Her favorite type of designing has always been handtied bouquets, so she anticipates the wedding season. She loves any type of outdoor activity and also enjoys Italian and Mexican food!

    Stephanie is an Interior designer/ Floral Artist who has a great passion for all areas of art. She has earned a specialized degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute. After graduating, she moved to Philadelphia and was employed at one of the areas largest flower shop where she learned a great deal of floral design knowledge while designing the shop’s showroom displays. Today, Stephanie is back in her hometown and is mother of two beautiful children. She feel so fortunate to work with such a talented, fun and uplifting group of people from whom she is continually learning and growing…oh, and they are constantly making her laugh!

    In addition to being a floral artist, Stephanie is part of the Leadership Ensemble at Butera The Florist, where her focus area is customer service, corporate client relations, and showroom display.
